As a young teenager, Rooster was sent out on a spirit quest to enter manhood.

Two years later he sent a postcard from Iraq. He had walked so far and lived off the land so long, he didnt want to go back. Instead, he joined the army, and joined the Rangers.

Rooster was famous in his town for long walks in the bush and would often return weeks later with enough smoked game to feed many people in his village.
